韩国造出朝文才几十年，而真正使用才四、五十年，不说世界没几个人识得，连它本国人也不很能完全领会，所以起名字都还是用中文。就连与日本有争议的领土也不敢用韩文写，生怕日本人看不懂，也怕本国人看不明，更怕世界上的人看不懂，只好用回他们老祖的文字——中文。
